A barn-style Macedon Ranges residence transformed by actor Asher Keddie and her artist husband Vincent Fantauzzo is back on the market.
The couple bought the house and its 43ha landholding at 849 Romsey Rd, Hesket after marrying in 2014, renovated it in Scandinavian style, and sold it to the current owners for about $2.15 million in late-2017.
The property is now for sale again, asking $2.45 million.
Keatings selling agent Sandi Barry-Mueller said the vendors made the “heartbreaking” decision to sell Ravenswood to move closer to family.
She said Gold Logie-winning Offspring star Keddie and Fantauzzo — known for his award-winning portrait paintings, including of Heath Ledger and Baz Luhrmann — had divided their time between Melbourne and the Hesket property, before listing it when work commitments and having a young family made it harder for them to escape there.
They told Property Confidential at the time the “special property (had) seen our family grow and given us immense joy” as a space for “creativity, inspiration and relaxation”.
“The lofty structure of the house gave us the perfect opportunity to create contemporary, minimalist spaces with large picture windows to enjoy the incredible landscape from every room,” the couple said.

Downstairs are two stables plus utility, store and tack rooms for horses.
Ms Barry-Mueller said Keddie had loved keeping horses on the property, which was rich with volcanic soil and water supply via a spring-fed creek, a lake and two dams.
The property also features a fenced vegie garden and chook shed, while the living space spaces are characterised by a soaring cathedral ceiling and recycled timber floors.
The agent said the current owners hadn’t needed to do much work, they’d just “loved and looked after” the home.
The “lock and leave” offering was suited to buyers seeking a permanent home or weekender, being close to Woodend village and freeway access to Melbourne.
